Founded in 1911, it was one of the most dazzling hardware stores in Barcelona, but few knew the secrets it hid inside. During the civil war, it housed a secret dining room in its basement, and from then on, its clandestine spirit with a jazz soul always endured. Finally, with the same care with which nuts, nails, or screws were chosen for 100 years, we now select beers, wines, sausages, fish, preserves, and other locally sourced products that we craft with all our affection.
At Casa Rafols, all our preparations are homemade: our dishes include a delicious selection of smoked and marinated fish, such as salmon, sardines, or anchovies. In addition, we offer our own range of wines created with local producers. If you're looking for a space to host an event, Casa Rafols is the ideal place. A versatile space of 1000 m2 just steps from the Arc de Triomphe to host cocktails and private events for up to 300 people. It is divided into three floors with five different areas. The ground floor with large windows and natural light is perfect for business meetings, product presentations, or photo sessions. Meanwhile, the "Club 61" with its speakeasy or the "Mr. Rafols' Office" are ideal for large parties or intimate celebrations. Together, they create a spacious venue for all types of grand celebrations.
